A man has been left injured after being knocked down in a hit-and-run murder bid in Glasgow.
The 36-year-old was on Dunagoil Road, Castlemilk, when he was struck by a grey/blue SUV at around 8.30pm on Sunday.
The car then made off in the direction of Ardencraig Road and the injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth hospital for treatment.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident as they look to trace the person responsible.
Detective constable Fiona McIlloney, from Greater Glasgow Division CID, said: “We are asking for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, who may have witnessed anything or has potential dashcam footage, to please come forward.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone with information on the incident or the suspect vehicle.
“Anyone with information can get in touch by calling police on 101.”
