The 84-year-old pedestrian was hit by a white Isuzu Grafter Flatbed on Glasgow Road in Blantyre on Tuesday afternoon.

“Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing, and I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the crash to please contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash-cam footage which could assist us to get in touch.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 2896 of December 19. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.“
