A man has been left in a “stable condition” in hospital after being seriously assaulted on a street in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Stravannan Road, in Castlemilk, at around 5pm on Wednesday.
A man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition has been described as “stable”.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.05pm on Wednesday, April 17 2024, police were called to a report that a man had been seriously assaulted on Stravannan Road, Castlemilk, Glasgow.
“The man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“Enquiries into the incident are continuing.”
