A man is in a serious condition in hospital after an attempted murder in Glasgow.
The 35-year-old was found badly hurt in Glen Esk Drive, Darnley, on Saturday night after being attacked by three men.
Emergency services were called around 11.25pm and the man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he is being treated for injuries to his arms and head.
Another 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Nick Gribben said: “We are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding this attempted murder, and trace whoever is responsible.
“House to house enquires are ongoing and we are checking CCTV from in and around the local area to gather more information for our investigation.
“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this attack take place, or anyone who was driving in the area of Glen Esk Drive late on Saturday night who has dash-cam footage, as they may have information that will assist our inquiry.”
