A man has been left in a serious condition in hospital after being “slashed” in a wooded area of Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to a wooded area near to Monymusk Place, Drumchapel, at around 3pm after a 42-year-old man was seriously assaulted.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to slash wounds.
Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
Three men, aged 44, 48 and 56, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are investigating the serious assault of a 42-year-old man which occurred in a wooded area near to Monymusk Place in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow around 3.10pm on Saturday, 6 July, 2024.
“The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
“Three men aged 44, 48 and 56 have been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
