A man has been taken to hospital after an early morning assault in an East Dunbartonshire home left his face injured.
Police were called to a property on Industry Street in Kirkintilloch at around 7.20am on Wednesday following a report that a 50-year-old man had been attacked.
The man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary while officers carried out enquiries at the scene.
Inspector Alan Ferris, of Greater Glasgow Police Division, said: “Around 7.20am on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, we received a report of an assault of a 50-year-old man within a property on Industry Street in Kirkintilloch.
“He has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with a facial injury and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
“Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 0450 of May 12.”
