Police have launched an investigation after a man was hospitalised following a serious assault.
A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital following the attack on Stuart Street in East Kilbride between 1am and 1.15am on October 5.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Detective Constable Andrew Sinclair said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”
