A man has been taken to hospital following an alleged stabbing on a Glasgow street.
Emergency services received reports of a serious assault on Leslie Street in the Pollokshields area of the city at around 11.05pm on Monday.
A 39-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the incident. Officers have arrested another 39-year-old male in connection with the alleged attack.
An investigation into the reported stabbing is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault on a 39-year-old man in Leslie Street, Pollokshields, Glasgow that we were called to around 11.05pm on Monday, September 23, 2024.
“The injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Enquires are continuing.”
