A man has been taken to hospital, and three suspects have been charged after a disturbance involving weapons and various vehicles in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Carntyne Road after they were alerted to the incident at around 6.30pm on Sunday.

A 44-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged after the large scale incident. He was then arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance.

Two other men, aged 44 and 45, were also arrested and charged in connection.

All were released and will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

An investigation to establish the full circumstances is still ongoing.

Detective Inspector Graham Clarke said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident, and we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

“If you were in the area at the time and saw anything at all suspicious, please get in touch.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dash cam footage of the area and would ask people to check in case they have captured anything which could be of significance to our investigation.”
