Man in hospital and boys, 14 and 15, arrested after ‘disturbance’ in Lanark Google Maps

A man was taken to hospital and two teenagers were arrested in South Lanarkshire on Saturday.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance in the Gallowhill Road area of Lanark at around 9.20pm on July 1.

Emergency crews took a 27-year-old man to hospital to be assessed. His current condition is unknown.

Two teenage boys, 14 and 15, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Police Scotland said reports will be sent to the Children’s Reporter and the Procurator Fiscal.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 9.20pm on Saturday, July 1, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Gallowhill Road area of Lanark.

“Emergency services attended and a 27-year-old man was taken to hospital to be assessed.

“Two male youths, aged 15 and 14, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and reports will be sent to the Children’s Reporter and Procurator Fiscal.”
