A man has been taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Paisley.
Emergency services were called to Neilston Road at around 11.15am on Wednesday following reports of a collision involving a male pedestrian and a car.
A 45-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A section of the road between Stock Street and Alice Street was closed to allow for enquiries to be carried out.
It has since reopened following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.15am on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, police were called to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Neilston Road, Paisley.
“Emergency services attended, and the 45-year-old male pedestrian was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
“Neilston Road between Stock Street and Alice Street was closed while officers carried out enquiries and has now reopened.”
