A man is in hospital after being struck by a car in Glasgow city centre.
Emergency services were called to Stockwell Street at around 8.45am on Thursday.
The pedestrian was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His current condition is unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45am on Thursday, March 12, 2026, police received a report of a crash on Stockwell Street, Glasgow, involving a car and a male pedestrian.
“The man was taken to hospital for treatment, and the road was cleared around 10.50am.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 8.39am to attend a road traffic collision on Stockwell Street, Glasgow. We dispatched two ambulances and a critical care paramedic to the scene.
“We transported one patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
