A man is in hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow during the night.
Police Scotland warned drivers to avoid the area of Bowfield Drive in Penilee after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The incident took place around 3.35am on Thursday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said an ambulance and paramedic response car took one man to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A spokesperson said: “We received call at 3.3am today to attend an incident on Bowfield Road.
“We dispatched one ambulance and a paramedic response car, with our first resource arriving on scene within five minutes.
“We transported one male patient into the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
