A man has been left injured following an attack in Glasgow city centre.
Part of Argyle Street has been taped off following the assault at 12.30pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital.
The extent of his injuries is not yet known.
Investigating officers remain at the scene however the police have assured the public that there is no wider threat at this time.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers were called to a premises on Argyle Street in Glasgow at around 12.30pm on Wednesday following an assault.
“One man has been taken to hospital and officers remain at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing and there is no wider threat to the public.”
