A man has been taken to hospital after an assault near George Square during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Cochrane Street in Glasgow at around 12.30am following reports of an attack.
A 27-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment in connection with the incident.
No arrests have been made. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are investigating an assault which happened on Cochrane Street in Glasgow around 12.30am on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
“A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
