STV NewsA man has appeared in court charged with assault to severe injury and robbery following an incident in Glasgow.
Police were called to Argyle Street after a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were found with serious injuries around 1.10am.
A 76-year-old man was traced in a nearby property on Blantyre Street and was also taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
All three were arrested in connection with serious assault.
Stuart Ventura appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday charged with assault during robbery, assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and robbery.
A 48-year-old from Hamilton made no plea and was remanded in custody pending his next court appearance within eight days.
