A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a dad who was found seriously injured on a path in South Lanarkshire.
David Graham, from Cambuslang, was walking alone along General’s Gate in Uddingston on Sunday, October 6, when he was allegedly attacked.
The 38-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Liam Kippen was arrested and charged in connection with the death.
The 29-year-old, from Motherwell, appeared at Hamilton Sherriff Court charged with the murder of Mr Graham on Thursday, October 10.
Kippen made no plea and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court again within the next eight days.
