iStockA man has appeared in court charged with the serious sexual assault of a woman in Glasgow.
Police were called to Carlton Court around 3am on Monday following reports of a woman being attacked.
A 39-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
On Tuesday, Mohammed Mohammed appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court charged with sexual assault and sexual assault by penetration.
He made no plea and was committed for further examination.
The 39-year-old was remanded in custody and will next appear before the court within eight days.
