A man has been assaulted outside a nightclub in West Dunbartonshire.
The 27-year-old was attacked at around 3.30am on Saturday morning in Balloch.
He was taken to Vale of Leven District Hospital in Alexandria for treatment to his injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.
Detective constable Iain Allison, of Clydebank CID said: “The victim has been left injured by this incident and we are appealing for information to be able to establish exactly what happened.
“The area would have been relatively busy with traffic and people leaving nearby premises at the time. If anyone has witnessed the incident or captured anything on dash-cam footage or CCTV, please contact police.”
