iStockA man has been found seriously injured on a street in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Burgher Street in the Parkhead area at around 3pm on Friday after reports of a man with serious injuries.
The street remains closed and members of the public are being urged to avoid the area while enquiries continue.
Police Scotland said investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance in the Burgher Street area of Glasgow after a man was found with serious injuries.
“Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3pm on Friday, 24 July, 2026.
“Burgher Street remains closed and the public are asked to avoid the area.
“Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.”
