Emergency services were called to the Gallowgate area at around 1.50pm on Wednesday after a man was found responsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is being treated as unexplained and enquires remain ongoing at this time.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 1.50pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, police were called to a report of a man found unresponsive in the Gallowgate area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
