A man has been charged after police received four reports of children being approached in Renfrewshire.
The incidents happened between April 24 and April 29 in the Johnstone Castle area of Renfrew.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that a 46-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and was due to appear in court.
The force went on to thank the local community for their assistance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Between April 24 and 29, officers received four reports of children being approached in the Johnstone Castle area.
“A 46-year-old man was arrested, charged and due to appear at court.
“Officers would like to thank the local community for their assistance.”
