An investigation has been launched after a man died in a fire at a property in South Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called around 7.33am on Tuesday to a fire at a residential property on Willow Lane in Troon.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service mobilised two appliances to the scene.
Police Scotland confirmed a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are said to be no suspicious circumstances, and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10am on Tuesday, May 19, we received a report of a fire at a property in the Willow Lane area of Troon.
“Emergency services attended, and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances, and enquiries are ongoing
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.33am on Tuesday, May 19 to reports of a fire in a residential property on Willow Lane, Troon.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7.51am to attend an incident on Willow Lane in Troon.
“An ambulance was dispatched, and one patient was treated at the scene.”
