A man has died days after being found hurt in a “disturbance” which led to two arrests.

Peter Morgan, 60, was taken to hospital in a critical condition in the early hours of November 19, and has now died from his injuries.

Police were called to Sikeside Street, Coatbridge, following the incident and two men, aged 24 and 55, were arrested.

The force said: “Around 12.25am on Friday, November, 19, police were called to an address is Sikeside Street, Coatbridge, where a 60-year-old man was found seriously injured.

“He was taken to hospital where he died a few days later. He can be named as Peter Morgan.”
