A man has died after he was found injured on a street in East Kilbride.
Emergency services were called to Findhorn Place at around 12.30pm on Saturday after reports of an injured 68-year-old.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin has been made aware.
Detectives are not treating the incident as suspicious, and a report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026, we received a report of an injured man on Findhorn Place in East Kilbride.
“Emergency services attended however the 68-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin is aware.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
