A man has died after being found seriously injured in a Glasgow flat.
Emergency services were called to a disturbance within a property on Summertown Road near Ibrox Stadium in the early hours of Monday morning.
The injured 33-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30am on Monday, we were called to a report of a man injured within a flat on Summertown Path in Govan, Glasgow.
“The 33-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a short time later.
“A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact Helen Street Police Station via 101 quoting reference 0081 of August 31.
