Man dies after being found in railway station toilets

Police investigating unexplained death of man who was found unresponsive at Glasgow Central station.

A man has died after being found unresponsive in the toilets at Glasgow Central Station.

Officers were called to the railway station at about 8.15pm on Saturday.

Paramedics also attended but the man, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for information as they work to establish the full circumstances behind the man’s death.

They believe he entered the toilets at around 5.15pm that evening and have asked anyone who may have been in the area between then and 8.15pm to contact them.

The man’s family have been informed about his death, which is currently being treated as unexplained by police.
