A man has died after being airlifted to hospital from a luxury resort in Argyll and Bute.
Emergency services were called to Portavadie Spa, near Tighnabruaich, on Thursday after receiving a report that a man had taken unwell.
The 31-year-old was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, where he died on Saturday.
Police confirmed there are no apparent suspicious circumstances, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 1.30 pm on Thursday, June 29, police were called to a resort in Portavadie after a report that a 31-year-old man had taken unwell within.
“He was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he died on Saturday, July 1.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
