Police ScotlandA man has been charged with murder after the body of a man was found inside a flat in Glasgow.
Police were called to an address on Monar Street, in the Possil area, at around 9.20am on Wednesday where James Jarvis, 55, was found dead inside.
A major investigation was launched and on Saturday, police confirmed a 38-year-old man had been charged in connection with the death.
William Sharp, 38, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday charged with murder, assault to injury, theft, theft of a motor vehicle, and five traffic offences.
The 38-year-old made no plea and was remanded in custody for further examination.
He will appear again within eight days.
