A man has been charged with possessing a knife after a disturbance at a shopping centre on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the Clyde Shopping Centre in Clydebank following reports of an incident.

A 32-year-old man was charged with possession of a knife and other related offences. He was held in custody and was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “In the evening of Sunday, March 2, 2025, a 32-year-old male from Clydebank was arrested and charged with possession of a knife and other related offences after a disturbance in the Clyde Shopping Centre.

“The male was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, March 3, 2025.”
