iStockA man has been charged in connection with committing a sexual offence at a McDonald’s in Glasgow.
The incident occurred at the premises in Silverburn Shopping Centre at around 5.15pm on Tuesday.
Officers arrested and charged a 40-year-old man with the offence.
He has been released on an undertaking and is due to appear at court on a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a sexual offence following a report at a premises on Barrhead Road in Glasgow around 5.15pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
“He has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.”
