A man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after an alleged attack in West Dunbartonshire.
Police said the incident happened around 1.45am on Thursday in the Ottawa Crescent area of Dalmuir.
A 22-year-old man was found near the central reservation on the A814, Dumbarton Road, with a serious chest injury.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
