A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
The 47-year-old man was hit by a vehicle at Anderson Gardens in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, on May 29.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Marc Hamilton appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.
As well as a charge of attempted murder, he faced further counts of assault to severe injury and danger of life.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
