A man has been charged with attempted murder after a car was driven towards a group of people in Glasgow.
The 34-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident that took place in Castlemilk on Sunday afternoon.
At around 3pm police received reports that a car had been driven towards a group of young men who were standing on Blaeloch Drive.
Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old declined medical treatment at the scene.
Detective Sergeant Keith Runcie, based at Cathcart CID, said: “Reckless acts of violence won’t be tolerated in our communities and the quick actions of our officers, which involved uniformed officers as well as detectives and the dog unit, has resulted in a man being arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
“I would appeal to anyone who has any concerns or information about violence or crime in their area to contact us on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
