Man charged over rape of girl, 15, at football pitch

A man has been charged in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old girl at a football pitch in Oban.

Emergency services were called to a serious sexual assault near Mossfield Avenue, at Mossfield Stadium, at around 11.15pm on Saturday.

On Tuesday, police said a 25-year-old man had been arrested and charged.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
