A man has been charged after the death of 37-year-old man in Greenock which is being treated as murder.
Shortly before 10pm on Sunday, July 30, police were called to a report of a disturbance involving three men in the Angus Road area of the town.
All three were taken to hospital, with one pronounced dead a short time later.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out, Police Scotland said. However, the man’s death is being treated as murder.
His next of kin have been made aware, officers said.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death and is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
