A man has been charged in connection with sexual offences after police were called to a group gathered on a Glasgow street.

Officers were called to the incident on Cumbernauld Road at around 7.10pm on Wednesday.

A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged over sexual offences. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.10pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, officers were called to a group gathered on Cumbernauld Road in Glasgow.

“A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with sexual offences. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, August 14.”
