iStockA man has been charged in connection with an alleged murder bid after a group of motorcyclists was struck by a car last month.
Emergency services were called to Greenock Road in Bishopton after reports of a collision involving a grey Nissan Duke and a group of motorcyclists at around 1.30pm on July 11.
The car left the scene after the incident. Detectives are treating the incident as an attempted murder.
A 55-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries.
Officers charged a second man, aged 39, in connection with the alleged murder bid.
He has also been charged in connection with a wilful fire which occurred at a premises on Edison Street, Hillington, on May 12.
The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
