Man charged in connection with hit-and-run incident

A 20-year-old man will appear in court on Monday after two male pedestrians were struck by a car in Clydebank.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a hit-and-run in West Dunbartonshire.

The incident happened on Milldam Road in Clydebank at around 1am on Saturday morning.

Two male pedestrians, aged 39 and 36, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment after being struck by a Ford Fiesta.

The man charged is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, August 30.
