A man has been charged in connection with the death of another man following a shooting at a house.
Paul Cairns, 42, was found seriously injured at a property in Nithsdale Road, Ardrossan, Ayrshire, at around 4.50pm on Sunday and died at the scene.
Police said a 42-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal
The man is expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
