A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged attempted murder in an Aldi car park.
A 35-year-old man was assaulted in the car park on Main Street, Ayr, on Sunday.
He was taken to Ayr hospital for treatment, and has since been released.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is expected to appear at Ayr sheriff court on Monday.
