Man charged after disturbance involving gang with 'weapons'

A man has been charged following a disturbance involving a gang with ‘weapons’ in Glasgow.

Officers were called to the scene of a disturbance around 5pm on Monday in Baldovan Crescent.

Police said they found one man injured at the scene who was treated by paramedics.

A 35-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Further enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2569 of Monday, June 17, 2024.
