A man has been charged after three firearms and cannabis worth £7,000 were seized in a raid in West Dunbartonshire.
Officers discovered the weapons after raiding a property on Woodyard Road in Dumbarton around 9.30am on Wednesday.
A property on West Bridgend was also searched with around 2kg of cannabis, with an estimated street value of £7,000, being recovered.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the seizures.
He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
Detective inspector David Lavery said: “This operation demonstrates our commitment to ensuring our communities stay safe.
“The seizure of these firearms and drugs significantly mitigates the risk and harm they could have caused to the public.
“Anyone involved in criminality can be assured we will take strong action against them. If anyone has concerns about illegal activity in their area, please do get in touch.”
