A man has been arrested and charged after a schoolgirl and a woman were allegedly sexually assaulted.

The 25-year-old was arrested in connection with incidents in Glasgow City Centre on Monday, March 31.

A 27-year-old woman was reportedly assaulted on West Graham Street, at around 8.50am, and a 16-year-old girl was allegedly attacked a short time later on Hill Street.

The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, April 2.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with two sexual assaults that occurred in Glasgow City Centre on Monday, March 31, 2025.

“The first incident occurred at around 8.50am when a 27-year-old woman was assaulted whilst walking in West Graham Street.

“The second incident occurred a short time later in Hill Street when a 16-year-old girl was assaulted.

“The 25-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.  A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
