A man has been charged after reports of a person wielding a knife in Clydebank on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Alexander Street at around 11.10pm after they were alerted to the alleged incident.
A 61-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
There were no injuries. A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.10pm on Friday, August 8, 2025, officers received a report of a man in possession of a knife in the Alexander Street area of Clydebank.
“There were no reported injuries.
“A 61-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
