Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance in the Victoria Road area at around 9.20pm on Wednesday.
A 52-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment following then incident.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.20pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, we were called to a report of a disturbance which happened in the Victoria Road area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and a 52-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
