iStockA man has been charged in connection with attempted murder after another was taken to hospital following a disturbance in East Ayrshire.
Firearms officers were called at around 8.05am on Saturday to a report of a man having been injured at a property on Cross Street in Galston.
A 55-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 33-year-old has been charged in connection with the disturbance and attempted murder.
The man is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, June 30, 2025.
