iStockA man has been charged in connection with multiple offences of “following women” in East Kilbride.
Police confirmed that a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged on Tuesday in relation to reports of females being followed over the last few weeks.
The arrest was made following an extensive inquiry and CCTV work, the force said.
The man is set to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Thank you for continuing to support us and keep our communities safe, if you have any concerns about suspicious behaviour in your community please keep reporting it through 101 or 999 in an emergency.
