Police ScotlandA man has been charged after the death of a man who was discovered seriously injured outside his home in North Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called to Pollock Crescent, in Kilwinning, at around 1.55pm on Friday after they received reports of an injured man.
John Taylor, from Kilwinning, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following a post-mortem examination the death is being treated as murder.
Police confirmed a 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
He is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
