A man has been charged after cannabis worth an estimated £80,000 was seized in a raid in Cumbernauld.
Officers searched an address under warrant in the Abronhill area at around 7.50pm on Wednesday.
A quantity of cannabis, with an estimated street value of £80,000, was recovered.
Police said a 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences.
The man was expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information regarding drugs in their area to come forward.
Inspector Barry Maguire said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is committed to bringing those responsible for the manufacture and supply of illegal substances to justice.
“The public has an important role to assist with this and we would urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs to get in touch with us via 101.”
